Bible Verses for a New Beginning
New beginnings are exciting and frightening in the same breath. A new job, a first day, a house move, a baby, a fresh start after a hard season. The Bible has a great deal to say to people standing at the edge of something. Again and again it tells them the same thing: do not be afraid, because you are not going on your own. These verses are good ones to begin with. Read one as you step out. The God who has brought you this far is not in the habit of abandoning people halfway.
