Ruth is a short story of grief, loyalty and quiet provision during the troubled years of the judges. A widowed outsider chooses to stay with Naomi, works with courage and finds welcome through Boaz. Her ordinary faithfulness becomes part of the family line that leads to King David and, later, to Jesus.
